“The Sixsters” is a group of five talented girls aged 13 to 18 who share a love for punk rock and a passion for songwriting. They perform original songs within the punk rock genre and have already captivated audiences at prestigious festivals in Ukraine, such as Faine Misto, Zahid Fest, Taras Bulba Fest, and Chornomorski Igry. The band’s journey took a significant turn when they emerged as the winners of a competition organized by the renowned Ukrainian band “Antytila,” opening doors to exciting opportunities and expanding their horizons. While a stadium tour alongside “Antytila” was initially planned for June 2022, circumstances related to the war led to changes in those plans.

Currently based in Essen, Germany, “The Sixsters” continue their artistic endeavors. Within six months of their stay, the girls released an English-language album and produced six music videos for songs from their new album, all available on their YouTube channel, “The Sixsters.” They also had the privilege of participating in Germany’s largest festival, Open Flair, which undoubtedly left an unforgettable impression on the girls. They also showcased their musical excellence through concerts in cities like Cologne, Eschwege, and Essen. Their talent has been acknowledged by the renowned German musical instrument company, “Fame Instruments,” who selected them as esteemed endorsers. This recognition solidifies their incredible talent and prominent position within the music industry. The band also features in the latest Gitarre & Bass magazine issue under the headline: “The Sixters: Ukrainian Riot Girls!”
